One Computer Bites The Dust.

Well, I’m staring at one dead computer. It is likely that the motherboard has just expired. It no longer detects known good RAM chips. The hardest part is to copy all data and reconfigure the database server. This is going to take a while.

5900 RPM Desktop Hard Drive.

Didn’t really notice that Seagate makes 5900 RPM Hard Drive now. Mostly for 1TB and 1.5TB Hard Drives That 500 extra RPM should help a lttle bit. The last time I bought a hard drive it was 1.5 TB 7200 RPM.
