Once again, I stayed up all night reinstalling OS X on my MacBook Pro. It started with a Firmware Upgrade for ADATA S599 SSD. I cloned the content of the SSD to a hard drive using Carbon Copy Cloner. I then repartitioned and reformatted the SSD. I upgraded the firmware to version 3.6.5 on a computer running Windows 7. I installed OS X on the MacBook Pro shortly after.
I decided to start over with the applications, installing as I needed them. One of the chief reasons is the disk space; it is a 128 GB SSD.
