I spent Saturday afternoon upgrading a Dell laptop. First I replaced the installed Intel Celeron CPU with a Core 2 Duo T7250. I upgraded the RAM to 2GB and replaced the non-functioning internal Broadcom Wi-Fi card with an Intel one.
I would’ve installed 4 GB of RAM on this laptop but I don’t have any in my box of RAMs. At this point the laptop is still rocking Windows XP. I might install Windows 7 on it later.
