I just finished replacing screen assembly on a MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro screen had a crack on the bezel which prevent me from opening and closing it. I finally found a soon to be “discarded” MacBook Pro of the same model with an intact screen assembly. After 30 minutes of work, now my original MacBook Pro looks like a new unit again.
