A Nexus One, Android 2.2 and Wi-Fi Tethering.

I’m glad to have bought a Nexus One, that I can use it as Wi-Fi Hotspot. I am at a place where there’s no broadband connections and all the available Wi-Fi access points are wireless protected.

AT&T 3G signals in Kuna, Idaho is so much better than Los Angeles. It feels like being at home, with the exceptions of downloading large files such as iOS 4.2 beta 1.

According to SpeedTest.net at that moment the download speed is about 2.89 Mb/s and the upload speed is 0.38 Mb/s. Take it with a grain of salt, bu it definitely is faster than some of the DSL service in many areas.
